run-up to GE13...Ohh Malaysia...art thou suffer!

When young, I remember asking my late father why he supports the ruling Government. He pondered a while but never really gave me a straight answer. I guess being a civil servant, he may have felt the idea of not poisoning my mind would be best. Maybe he felt it was the right thing to do not wanting to speculate or talk negative of his "masters."
My late father knew well I was more corrupted and clouded back then as a teenager for we use to argue on issues most youngsters today can't hold water. Anyway, youngsters today are a stupid spoon-fed lot. Blame NOT the parents but the education system.
How I wish my late father was still here today so I can prove him wrong on the issues we argued and show him what the ruling government is all about by way of all those things that appear on the net and NOT in the dailies. My late father's perception of the country was all from the dailies he read.
We've come a long way since then (I always keep saying this) to understand issues amidst our time here but fear in all contentions in crystallizing it. The same goes to any political aspirations be it for or against. And to change the Government is a mammoth task, so it seemed then. Not anymore. Then everything and anything was all about the National Front and UMNO.  Not anymore.

why still no action?? ...

Over and repeatedly both these two 'GODLY' figures below have disparaged and ridiculed Hindus in Malaysia over their 'SAINTLY' remarks and again have got away with it without even any reprimandation from the relevant authorities.

WHY???

THEY MUST BE ABOVE THE LAW .....

From Malaysia Kini ...

"Vell Paari revealed he had sent a letter to party president G Palanivel asking for the government to initiate action against Ridhuan Tee Abdullah and Perkasa chief Ibrahim Ali for making comments insulting Indians in the country"

This man Arsene Wenger ...

"Arsene Who?", "Arsene Knows", and soon "Arsene Go'
His name rhymes with the club he helms. Arsene Wenger came to Highbury as an unknown. The fans asked, "Arsene Who?" He stayed. He brought in unknowns and unfrenzied young players mostly from France. He brought into a game a very different style of football. The fans still kept to their mocking, "Arsene Who?"

After a year at Highbury, Arsene guided Arsenal and won the English FA Cup. They then went on to win many other trophies and in one season became League Champions without losing a single game. In fact, they went 49 games without a lost. What started as 'Arsene Who' became 'Arsene Knows.'

Wenger was inspirational into making The Emirates, the present ground, a new home. He brought in the revenue to a football club which was pitting against clubs far more richer with money and fan power. Arsene Wenger believed in his young proteges and made them show what they're capable of. This was Arsene Wenger's highest achievement in English football and not the trophies he won or missed. But the fans screamed for more.

Now, each game lost, the team and manager are adiosed with screams of boos from the fans. It wouldn't be any surprise if a new slogan is coined, "Arsene Go" anytime soon. From what was a has-been club, Arsene Wenger brought Arsenal to the big leagues, taking on the giants of Europe. His young team beat teams who thrive on trophies and money in bound folds.

Its rather sad to see Arsenal in its 16 years under Arsene Wenger go from a highly successful and entertaining football club playing purely razzmatazz delightful football to what it is now - to fall to its lowest ebb, the worst thus far losing to teams from lower divisions.

Arsene has refused to buy big names, pay big salaries to big players to boost his team. Was once termed as a business man first, manager second for his way of grooming youngsters bought cheap and only later selling them to bigger clubs for big bucks. He was also and still is the 'educated man' in football compared to his like-minded counterpart Managers. He brought fame and fortune to Arsenal Football Club FC and his fan base tripled over the years.

His doctrine of running an English club should be cast in stone. Never erase it. His standards of clinical ball play will be difficult to emulate. If ever there would be another man to make it better then clinical at all, I doubt.

Now, all that is negated and forgotten for a man I believe deserves more accolades than 'resign' pleas. The fans fail to remember this frail tall  Frenchman's deed to an English Club - his tireless pursuit for club glory. They have forgotten his tireless work in the sport loved by many. Arsene Wenger brought in the pride and respect Arsenal rightfully deserves and the merits it enjoys.

Win, lose, or draw; trophyless or relegated, Arsene Wenger has a right to be amongst the greatest Manager ever walked on the grounds of Highbury or Emirates. He has a right to be heard, to be seen and felt and NEVER to be discarded.

Gooners, if he has to go, bid him well.

run-up to GE 13..poltical renaissance, are we ready?

Yes, we are. This is the time. It's ripe and waiting.

I remember reading a book way back in my teens, the then Russian President said, hinting at Tito's Yugoslavia, "Yugoslavia is a ripe plum. When it falls, it will fall on Russia's lap."  And some years later into the future, Yugoslavia did fall. History says that well.

Does the above sound anywhere similar to the political backdrop here in Malaysia today? It may be close and it may fall many say. Don't you think 54 years is quite a long time for one party, one race to helm and rule.

The other factor; Malaysians don't need to go to the polls to decide. A truly care worthy government after 50 plus plus years should gracefully render its resignation and let new blood, new party, new people to take over the leadership. But such 'backdrops' don't happen even if that's the best recipe. Some party want to rule forever. Isn't that like when you have grown old and redundant, but keep ditching out outdated promises and nonsense logic?

But, rule they want forever. They want to reap and rape every thing over and over again in their path and swell their bank accounts. They want to plunder the already poor and silent the masses with their brute race arrogance and puny doctrines.

The present ruling government have indeed grown strong, in fact too strong one can't even shackle them. They are now talking of revoking citizenship of individuals who they say are here to create trouble and disharmony. Such low and depleted thinking.

They think and speak as owners of Gods. They invoke hell fury on protesters, incarcerate dissidents without trials and give hell to make one shiver. Their governance is all about cronyism and somewhat hegemony. This they call government and say they need another five more years to straighten up all their flaws. And the saddest part is most Malaysians actually believe in them. There is saying - if you can't bend a bamboo when young, you can never bend it when its old.

We're already 13 years into the 21st century. I believe once there was trust upon them to look after the welfare of the nation but we were wronged. Now they make and bake the nation with their whatever they think is right irregardless to what the people want. Is this what we want? Is this what our children should look-up for? In the name of race (over and over again) the present government has insidiously ostracized what others have worked hard to garner only to see all efforts gone futile and into the drain.

Time after time they champion their race but to what extent. Even today many can't fathom simplicity. Sadly to say, the champions here never win medals. They make thyself the masters and the others slaves.

In fact, I ask - who are you to play God? Who are you to decide what we need for ourselves, our children and our generation.

Seriously, it's time to change. Someone prominent recently said, they'll be an Arab spring in Malaysia if the opposition loses to gain and form a new Government. I don't know if this former statesman is senile or daydreaming. Or maybe he has begun to fear his own shadow.

Arab spring or not, when are the polls?

..run-up to GE13..Oh Malaysian Indians!..Art thou 'becometh?'

The Malaysia Chinese(MC) have made up their minds (so it seems) to vote for Pakatan Rakyat while PAS is gaining ground amongst the Malays. Urban folks in Sabah and Sarawak (again so it seems) will support the opposition. All is left now are the Malaysian Indians(MI) and their votes.
Reports have put MI vote as 50:50 while others 54% in favour of Barisan National(BN). Whatever it is, it's still a speculation as what Malaysians are "gifted" for.  -  extracted from reliable independent source.

Hindraf's ban is lifted.  Now what? What awaits now for Malaysian Indians?

It all seems Malaysian Indians are still in two minds to vote either for Barisan National or Pakatan Rakyat's coalition.
Malaysian Indians still don't realise MIC is irrelevant. MIC, for the better of all should leave the Barisan National coalition and dissolve itself. MIC is akin to rats with plaque. They can't and will not in anyway help anyone except themselves. All the same with Pakatan. Pakatan Rakyat till today have not said nor done much for the scores of Malaysian Indians. Both these parties put forth their variety of cheap talk cum gimmick, so it seems, to spruce up the minds of hopelessly lost and 'defunct' Indians. Barisan National in all its 50 plus plus years had fared no better.

With its 50 plus years, the Malaysian Indian Congress had yet to rectify anomalies and shortfalls tying them to the brittle fabric of the Malaysian Indian's conundrums. But till now nothing noteworthy has ever happened; least nothing to say it out proudly. The same goes to Pakatan but Pakatan Rakyat had never ruled thus it's politically incorrect to judge them now. In fact Pakatan Rakyat's coalition are the only coalition against Barisan National. Is there any other one coalition Malaysian Indians can root for?
Barisan National is trying all channels to woo the Malaysian Indians. All they want are their votes and nothing else. The same cliche every five years in Malaysian Polls history and yet the Indians in Malaysia still don't get it. Was it the school or the abstinence of their existence?
To some extent Malaysian Indians have gained more prominent status and recognition with Pakatan then with Barisan National.  The list below says it well.
MPs (under Pakatan Rakyat)
1. P Ramasamy (Batu Kawan, Penang)
2. M Kula Segaran (Ipoh Barat, Perak)
3. M Manogaran (Teluk Intan, Perak)
4. Charles Santiago (Klang, Selangor)
5. John Fernandez (Seremban, Negeri Sembilan)
State assemblymen
1. P Ramasamy (Prai, Penang, Deputy Chief Minister II)
2. A Tanasekharan (Bagan Dalam, Penang)
3. RSN Rayer (Sri Delima, Penang)
4. A Sivasubramaniam (Buntong, Perak)
5. V Sivakumar (Tronoh, Perak, former Perak Speaker)
6. A Sivanesan (Sungkai, Perak)
7. M Manoharan (Kota Alam Shah, Selangor)
8. S Veerapan (Rapah, Negeri Sembilan)
9. K Arumugam (Rahang, Negeri Sembilan)
10. P Gunasekaran (Senawang, Negeri Sembilan)

It's time Malaysian Indians start believing in themselves then with anyone 'hoodwinkin' in helping them. The time has come for them to make a choice for something better and those the hardcore poor should come to realize any piecemeal assistance rendered only serves for the 'prezzie' time and none no more.
While many non Malaysian Indians venture out leaving behind whatever had been wasted upon them, the youths are not in anyway brave to venture out along the same path. Again, the school?
Nothing will change even after the impending 'mother-of-all polls' is done. Even with the change of guards, are we sure the change is what it means to any betterment for any race then the dominant one? I doubt that.
Malaysian Indians don't have the audacity to make a choice for a change. The seniors are old school fools dousing themselves with make-believe arrogance and impurity. They not know who or how they've come to ascend nor know their history of their very own descendant. They're always cheated out of their dreams and made scapegoats. It's all too prevalent now and even this had become a cliche amongst the nons.
Corruption is rife and crime rampant. The wheels of courage to change should be in them, not told to them. Never dwell within the same mindset. The fear of the unknown should be discarded. In Malaysia, what comes is cursorily made home. For the Malaysian Indians, nothing comes.
Pakatan is not an alien entity. It's a workable government. It holds fort in Kedah, Kelantan, Penang , Selangor and not forgetting 11 months in Perak. They have proven records to allege "workable".
To all Malaysian Indians....if you think you and your Gods are what all life is  about, then permit me to bid all you daft fools adios.

Albert Einstein once said, "God does not play dice with the Universe"

Thank you.

Psy plus Cho ..

Firstly, Gong Xi Fa Cai to all Chinese brethren. May the year of the snake slither and strike you rich with prosperity.

Here's a funny thing happening in Penang for the 2013 Chinese New Year.

Psy (a Korean MALE artist, in case if you didn't know) is to perform at the Barisan National's (BN) Chinese New Year "fiesta" in Penang this year. Barisan National are paying a little over a million Ringgit or Dollars (so I heard) to bring this guy who sings in Korean to Penang to entertain Penangaites who DON'T speak Korean.

Absolutely brilliant! What the *&^%$#@

If at all he were to sing in English, please have mercy on the language. Have you ever heard Koreans speak 'Enlis', let alone sing?

I hope BN leaves it all with Psy and end it at that, else there could be other 'wise' parties who would bring in characters like Psy in the names like Psycho, Wacko, Cracko, Dumbo or even Bohboh.

This is what the present BN government can come up with to booster their Chinese New Year Open house concept to swell up their show of arcades to 'PSYchoing' the Chinese populace for the forth coming General Elections. And if you're one of those to throng to this so-called foolish and utterly psycho open-house do, you must be brain-dead.

In all Lord and Mercy, Heaven and Earth, do they even have governance in them?

I am a Penangaite. Malu la
