Chaos chaos Bukit Mertajam ...

After an 18 hour downpour, Bukit Mertajam is in chaos as people are caught in flash floods, traffic congestion and shops remained closed. Trains schedules have been cancelled owing to the disruption of power supply and trees fallen on tracks.

On the Isle, it's total calamity. Over flowing rivers, mud and hill-slope slides, roads, houses and schools are inundated with mud-flow and 'flotsam' debris; not forgetting stench and dead carcasses flowing into homes.

More storms are expected in the next few days.

Orionid Fireworks

Deepavali treat ,
4 am today, look-up into the night-sky and watch God's fireworks in the form of Orionid meteor shower to light up the early dawn sky. (hope the skies are clear)
