...and finally, the Selangor State Government gets cracking by registering stateless Malaysian (Hindus) but ... what about the Malays, Chinese and the other minority ethnic masses of Malaysians who are stateless and without Identity Cards?

Are their grouses being addressed?

And don't forget, Sabah and Sarawak too.

Indraf 2.0 Rally

Just when you thought it was save to go back into the waters, out comes another shark to chomp chomp you.

Behold Malaysians, Indraf 2.0 Rally is on May 27, 2012. This is a spin off from the Hindarf 2007 November rally.

Before you even know it, there is going to be a barrage of rallies by the time GE 13 kicks off.

Lets bask with the fun.

It's either going to be democracy, democrazy or demonstration.

Bersih 4.0

On your marks, get set, GOOOOOOOOO...Bersih 4.0

24 & 25 May, Bersih 4.0 will be launched in front of Datuk Ambiga's (co-chairman of Bersih 3.0) house in Damansara.

A group of petty traders (60 of them, I think ) will be congregating in front of Ambiga's house between 3 to 8 pm to Pasar Malam the evening away.

Their reason in choosing the vicinity of Ambiga's house : Lost thousand and thousands of ringgit in petty trade due to Bersih 1.0, 2.0 & 3.0. (underline the word petty and thousands)

So, by putting up their 'pasar malam'  trade in front of Ambiga's house, these group of numbnut traders plan to earn back all the money they lost during all three Bersihs.

The leader of this group is also a pasar malam trader with a Datukship title. Go figure.

Shall all of us celebrate this joyful occasion at the Zoo?

+ Latest : City Hall (DBKL) has rejected and denied them permit to Pasar Malam but they have insisted to stage the night market no matter what.

Before I forget, there is a strong inkling pretty soon all our MPs and what not will be gathering in Parliament to draft a new law called "Law of the Jungle."

THE VERDICT :

Too late ..it's all too late ..

From a blog I visited recently,

The 13th Malaysian general elections will be held sometime between now and April 2013.

These elections have the potential to be free and fair polls held in the country for several decades.

For the coming elections to live up to this potential, we call on the government and other major players and stakeholders to scrupulously observe the following priority concerns which we see as key to ensuring an outcome that can have greater legitimacy amongst Malaysians and outside observers:

1.     Implementation of recommendations of the Parliamentary select committee to clean up the electoral process
2.      Free and fair access to mass media for all parties
3.      Public service staff at local, state and federal levels to observe strict neutrality
4.      Prohibition on misuse of Government and associated public facilities and apparatus for electioneering purposes
5       All parties to be transparent and accountable in the use of money during the elections. 

Both coalitions need to disclose their sources of funding and provide a detailed account of their campaign expenditure.

To enable a more level playing field for the coming elections, it is necessary  these concerns be addressed immediately and not just before the elections.

We are especially concerned urgent measures be undertaken to ensure the civil service and media strictly observe strict neutrality in the run up to the coming elections. Necessary measures could be proposed by civil society organizations engaged in monitoring the elections.

Further, to forestall any attempt at disruption of the election outcome, we propose all political leaders and political parties agree to a short statement promising they'll respect the will of the people exercised at the polling booth as well as honour a peaceful transition of power. 

This declaration – to be jointly crafted by the ruling and opposition parties - should be widely disseminated as a public service to discourage any individuals or groups that may iintent on creating mischief aimed at overturning the outcome of the elections.

Liverpool ...you must be BRAINSICK!

Poor Kenny

Liverpool Management has sacked King Kenny. BIG BIG BIG MISTAKE.

Just how many more managers are there in England today to manage a club like Liverpool?

Kenny is no magician and neither is Liverpool top-class material. And to bring Liverpool back its glory days in a short period of time is a quick recipe for disaster.

I am no fan of Liverpool, NEVER, but to sack Kenny Dalglish is by far the most dumbest thing LFC has done thus far.

Wenger and Ferguson, both ain't magicians either, and with all their roller-coaster managerial mayhem are still there with their clubs and both have never been questioned or sacked.   Why?

Any manager new or old, fresh or experienced need a good couple of years to groom a team. No manager can do what Arsene and Ferguson has done in one season. Liverpool needs to know and learn that first.

So sorry you LiverFOOLS. 

Maybe you should hire Mario Balotelli instead..hahahaha

Joey Bar"toon", the insatiable footballer ...

Joey Barton, 30 from Huyton Merseyside, captain of QPR was red carded in his last game for QPR for season 2011-2012. Tiny Tony (QPR's owner) Fernandez was there at the Stadium of Manchester to watch the spectacle and must have reeled with frustration and could have asked himself just how many more red cards is Joey gonna score...?

Red carded or not, you got to hand it to Joey as he was clearly the Man of the Match for the day and without a doubt the Player of the Season for 2012. There could only be one other man in England who has come close in taking away that title, and that got to be the "Christmas" of Man City - Mario Balotelli.

Apart from the nail-biting end, and City triumphant at last, two colourful personalities at logger heads on the last day of BPL must be the best of English football ditched out in a long time. Never mind Man U losing out, Man City winning and Joey red-carded took the highlight.    

Away from all those 'accolades' bestowed upon Joey, and for all the wrong reasons this foolhardy loud-mouth arrogant hell of a footballer he is, Joey Barton without a doubt is the most out-standing centre half in England today. But he can never get into Roy Hodgson's England squad.

Why?

Fabio Capello once said, "If I get Joey in the English squad, it will be a total disaster for England." Now, that's how good this 'clown' is, I mean not as a player but as someone who spells disaster on the pitch.

Now Joey, here's a guy, talented but short-fused. Sharp and blunt. Loud mouth but scores. Reads the game well and disgusts his own team-mates. Joey has been red carded many times and for the latest against Man City, he may get a lengthy ban. Again the only other player who comes second to Joey is simply Mario.

Knowing Joey as British tabloids favourite 'clown', I wonder what Tony was thinking when he brought Joey to Loftus Road. I can't wait for the 2012-2013 season to begin. Can't come to grips the fun watching Joey and Mario to again dish out their antics on and off the pitch. Hope Mario doesn't go away to Italy. And another good thing, QPR escaped relegation. More fun next season. 

Teacher's Day

“The mediocre teacher tells.

  The good teacher explains.

   The superior teacher demonstrates.

     The great teacher inspires.”

No...I didn’t come up with that. It was from William Arthur Ward. 

Teaching is a noble but a tiring profession. Ask any teacher and they'll agree with a simple but heartfelt frown. To teach another is being altruistic. A taught person is akin to a joyous face of a felicitous child. Never a doubt ever. Teaching is never beating about the bush either though it is viewed by many as mundane but the effort put together is halo titanic.  

Our learning growth starts the very first day we’re sent to face our nemesis - our teachers in schools while our parents grow their imaginary dreams of wanting their kids to achieve greatness. 

In short, someone said, “All mothers would have gone to the asylum if not for the teachers who took their kids in.”  How so well said. Each time I think of it I remember my times as a student and how we as students learned everything and anything the hardest way ever devised or invented by man. Even if I were to put down here my trails of mayhem and fun I had in school, you would never in a million years believe me.

It all starts with a teacher in a classroom from the day we put on our uniforms, shoulder our schoolbags and walk into a room full of wooden chairs and tables to get the most priceless gift ever - EDUCATION.

This is also the day we come to know our lifelong journey is put to torture and mayhem. Teachers, not parents are the ones who spark off the “brain-revolution” in us. Sadly, during the times when I went to school, teachers were the devils. The nemesis. Tho' I still have reservations, many teachers have left me amazed, inspired, some showed me what pain is and one showed me the way to the stars. (Yes one. May he rest in peace). Some have left me breathless and some have made me do the unthinkable while scourging them aimlessly. Well! then I was a student. Never knew what teaching was until I became a teacher for while.

Today, teachers are a far cry from their predecessors. A school can be turned into war zone among students and teachers. Teachers now demand more pay then ever. Back in my time, the school was the police station and the teachers were the law. None would argue or take a teacher to task. And there're teachers who work for salary and nothing else.

Einstein once said, "It's the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge".  So true. 

Teachers are the columns of nation building. Without them, where do we lay the roof?

They're so many quotes on teachers, the memories, the quintessence of a person imparting knowledge aimlessly to another and the humility towards the art and profession of learning. Without them, I couldn't have been here. No way. A profession so noble but scarce in recognition. 

Teachers all, I thank you dearly.

And to all teachers out there ...HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY.
