The Clash of the Titans...

Clash of the Titans!! Indeed. The name itself is such a wonder for this movie.

Has Hollywood run out of ideas? Do they still think Clash of the Titans should be revived with a new look after the likes of Avatar which set a threshold for 3-D animation film making?

I believe this is a remake of the movie I saw way back during my school years. Like clear dream, I still remember the likes of Pegasus - the Unicorn winged White stallion, Zeus - The king of Gods, Neptune - The King of the Seas, Bobo - the humble Owl, and of course how can one forget the 'lovey-dovey' hate till you die snake-headed Medusa.

Such a dread of a woman who can turn anything into stone with her look even having her head dismembered from her body (oops.. I let the cat out of the bag! ) and her eyes can make even Zeus shy away tho' it was Zeus who cast her out and made her into somewhat a chimaera.

This is one fun movie to watch with men brandishing swords taller than lamppost and horses with heels on fire flying through the sky and not forgetting scorpions that grow gigantic feeding on blood..haha.

And not forgetting, the gist of the movie - the sacrifice of a human virgin to the sea monster Krakern , caged underwater, which can only be killed by one NOT man but woman. Kinda like Lord of the rings. Remember! I still remember when the call for the sea monster is summoned.

"Releaseeee the Krakern!"..... wow...and the entire city trembles with fear.

Anyway, this movie was inspired by my late father and it was he who told me to go watch it. And watch I did - took 3 buses and a ferry to get to the cinema only to end up with the last remaining front seats.

Anyway, enjoy I did watching this movie, and I believe this was the first movie I watched "UNCENSORED." I don't know how that part of the movie got away from the evil scissors of the so called censor board.

Lastly, this movie is more to the Hero of the day saving his virgin princess Andromeda from being eaten by the sea monster- Krakern.

Not in my top ten list of movies to watch, but I strongly reckon all to watch it, both kids and adults.

Happy Clash!
