Rain has been causing havoc in Penang lately. Many low lying areas had flooded and roads became impassable with clogged up floating debris. A week before, I was told Penang had been experiencing some heavy downpour never seen before. This is something new especially this time of the year.
I was out of my house early and on a personal errand managed to get a first hand view of the rain mayhem.
As I made my way back home, the view below reminded me of the impending storm about to hit the island soon
