The 13th General Election should never be about what or who should take governance and rule. It should be all about what we need and seek to enrich our lives, our welfare, our well being and for our generation to embrace the legacies we leave behind. We should look for worthy leaders who can put Malaysia back on the global map. And that to be proud of being called a Malaysian and not an immigrant or "pendatang".
We should place a Government uncorrupted, unbiased and free from all forms of racism. To bring equality to every living and walking Malaysian, we need a government who should feed the masses with bravery, courage and total independence. This isn’t an easy task and neither is it unattainable.
We should place a Government uncorrupted, unbiased and free from all forms of racism. To bring equality to every living and walking Malaysian, we need a government who should feed the masses with bravery, courage and total independence. This isn’t an easy task and neither is it unattainable.
And to reciprocate, the nation via its citizens should able to fuel and feed back the goodness received to ensure the National Flag of Malaysia be always wavering showing of its true multi-cultured and multi-ethnic greatness.
This is the only thing every Malaysian nationality craves for and this should be unwantonly enshrined into the hearts of every Malaysian.
A list of what every Malaysian should yearn for may somewhat look like this:-
- Ibrahim Ali should NOT be the yardstick in deciding a new government factor.
- The Judiciary System, The Police and the Anti Corruption Agency (MACC) should be revamped and be given total independence. It should not be governed or run by a single race or incline to the doctrines of the ruling government. In simplicity, it should be apolitical in all its dealings.
- Ministers and their families, next-of-kin should never be given any form of privilege or royalty in the form of business or license to build, operate or run any kind of property without openly declaring their honesty and interest in the process of nation building.
- Racial slurs denigrating fellow Malaysian especially the minority is to be banned / abolished out rightly.
- Parliament proceedings to be telecast live.
- The Prime Minister of Malaysia should never be the sole person selected from one race one party. He or she should govern the country for a selected number of terms only.
- Students to be given ample and equal opportunity on scholarships for higher education irrespective of the field of study or the chosen University. All top achievers are given full government sponsored scholarships to pursue their studies in any top 20 Universities on the globe.
- All quota system be abolished and the economic pie of the nation be well divided amongst Malaysians – poor or rich both equally.
- Bumi and non-Bumi status be abolished. Sabah and Sarawak should never be termed as East Malaysia but Malaysia.
- The rakyat should come first above everything else and not be burdened with unwanton payments and be derided with economic mayhem.
- To instill a balanced lifestyle and ensure Ringgit Malaysia is not let to float away from the mainstream currency index.
- All elderly retirees (both civil and private) be given proper help both monetarily and health. Senior citizens should enjoy rebate rates or even free access on pubic transports to ease the burden on the guardians looking after them.
- Nation building should be for all Malaysians and not for the rich and fancy.
- Top posts in the country to be given based on merit, excellence and know-how. Not via race, colour or creed.
- 1Malaysia to be BANNED. Being called Malaysian should supersede everything else.
- On May 6, 2013 - to see a new Government ( added after Poll's day announcement)
The above are the basic ground wish list. There could be more....do add them to yours and make it the one wish list EVERY MALAYSIAN be proud of.
To make things easy, use the below picture to give you a yardstick measurement of who you should NOT vote base on character, characteristics or even by nature.
IN A NUTSHELL :
Imagine if Ibrahim Ali to be the next Prime Minister.
