run up to GE 13....Verdict in the mist

Make or break,  like a maelstrom with baleful intentions, the 13th Malaysian General Election is about to grip us hard on 5 May, 2103.  It looks more like "Malaysia Reality" game show. Everywhere campaigning and "ceramahs" are mushrooming.  And to be precise, after attending a few rallies over the week myself, it looks  the opposition is garnering more crowd then BN even with their money bribe modus-operandi.

Without a doubt, GE13 is the hottest topic now. This has to be the mother of all Polls owing to its popularity within Malaysia and amongst Malaysian living abroad. Never has there been such excitement to cast votes.

The future of a nation and her people rest on the fate of the outcome of this Polls on 5 May, 2013. Many know and believe our Polls are rigged and it won't be any different this time around again. For a nation believing on a one race party for over 50 over years harping and expecting heaven and honey speak well of how we're hoodwinked and cheated all this time. Doesn't it dawn upon you how a single party could go on and on year after year telling the same goofs and lies to stay in power. Some of the issues spewed out spell and smell the same since the last I cast my vote.

For the wanting of POWER, even a mummy could be made to confess to vote.

Don't you think it's time we changed our sentry guards.

I've made my soft prediction below on how it'll go this time around.

PERLIS
  • The smallest state in Malaysia and majority Malay-Moslem. PKR should not have any problem this time around to prize away this little state sitting to neighbour Thailand. Hope they do their work well else 'sayonara' again to them.
       My verdict : 60 / 40 to BN

 KEDAH
  • The Jelapang Paddy of Malaysia is now with the opposition. I think it'll stay that way for time to come but alas BN have thrown in a trump-card to take it away with the 'introduction' of a multimillionaire or should I say billionaire in the likes of an ex-premier's son. You don't need a genie's crystal to know who.
       My verdict : 60 /40 to PAS/PKR/DAP

PENANG
  • The Pearl of the Orient. The state with a heritage ego. Penang has got 'guts and vision to fulfill'. Been a Penangaite all my life and thus I know well. Less be said and not forget, DAP is doing a god job tho’ they're rooms for improvement. The recent announcement of an under-the-sea tunnel and highway leading to the state from mainland and vice-verse is a MUST for Penang. If there is one state that attracts tourist in scores, its Penang. I've seen more tourist in Penang then anywhere else in Malaysia.
       My verdict : 80 / 20 to DAP/PKR/PAS

PERAK
  • The Silver state - troubled and snatched. The fight I would say is here. A Waterloo carried over from 2008. Can't say much of the mentality of the Perak people. The state is well divided with puny ideologies. I believe they do want a change but BN won't give it up easy. So, battle grounds are a plenty and it can go a near miss for both parties vying to wrest it.
        My verdict : 60 /40 to PAS/DAP/PKR

SELANGOR
  • By hook or crook, even if Najib grows a tail or makes himself mandore, Selangor a jewel amongst diamonds, is one state BN needs badly. So they're going to pull all their cards with jokers included and do whatever it takes even rig, to get it back. To the opposition, they've done more in Selangor in under 4 years than BN in 50 over years. Tho' gate-crashed and plans derailed by BN, PKR goes the distance to engage the masses unlike BN who ONLY appears when its Polls time.
       My verdict  : 60 /40 to PKR/PAS/DAP

NEGERI SEMBILAN
  • Nine or asinine – this state should have gone to PKR in 2008. Hope it will this time around and hopefully the Negeri folks will follow suit looking at the outcome of neighbours Selangor falling into the hands of the Pakatan.
       My Verdict : 60 / 40 to BN

MALACCA
  • this is one debunked state with a Chief Minster all gone wrong. Even their history is mockery.  Hopefully this time around, the Hang Tuahs and Hang Jebats will grow sense and choose wisely.
        My Verdict : 50/50

JOHOR
  • Wow, this is where the stench of UMNO lies. The thing about being the fortress of UMNO is one whole load of bullshit. If Selangor can go to Pakatan, no reason why Johor can't. As for Johorians, maybe now they have seen and felt the changes. Hopefully, they'll make a better choice this time around.
        My verdict : 50 / 50.

KELANTAN
  • The slow and slumber state of Malaysia. No need for further discourse. It'll remain with PAS and forever.
My verdict : 100 % to  Tok Guru

TERENGGANU
  • the oil rich state. Once held by PAS, so it can do the same again. BN need this state real bad for one reason and one only – OIL.  But, I doubt it'll go to any other.
       My verdict : 80 / 20 – to BN.

PAHANG
  • The state of the PM.  Rare-Earth issue! No big deal and no crap shit. The state of FELDA settlers as well.  All this put together spells NAJIB.  If this state goes to the opposition, wow what a jackpot. And I hope it does.
       My Verdict : 60 /40 to BN.

SARAWAK
  • NO way anyone can wrestle this tropical forest gem away from Taib.  A unique state where the people still live in the 18th century poverty.  A handful are super rich millionaires and the rest are super pauper.  Sarawak boost with heavenly gifts like minerals, timber, oil, wildlife, culture, indigenous people, rivers, crocodiles ..wow…they have it and can lure multitudes of tourist if it is run and given by to the right people to govern. Too bad no way all this is going to land into the right hands.
My verdict : 100 %  to "termite" Taib  (massively rigged)

SABAH
  • The most controversial state in Malaysia and going by its recent upheavals, this is one state worth fighting for. Its resources are immense - people beautiful, vast archipelago, vacation islands and land below the wind. And don't forget Sabah is also famous for illegals, Filipino, gunmen, pirates, smuggling and the list goes on like its vast island archipelago.   One thing baffling - how is it Sabah, referred as fixed deposit of BN  but has remained poor in all aspect of livelihood? Just how?
My verdict : Honestly NO IDEA.

Heh! this is only my prediction.
I wish to be proven wrong.
