'Ola Bola" ...is that right or are we sure..?

I know for a fact many enjoyed "Ola Bola" the movie. So much of raving on and off the TV and radio. (not sure about the printed media). All about its nationalistic message, team spirit, putting on a fighting front together and so on and so screw forth. And it was about football. The most loved sport in this nation but wrongly understood its inner politics. Ask the Sabahans.

Now try to equate that to our present times, our nation, Government, single race parties, hegemony dictatorship. Any similarities?

Why is it Malaysia and its Government does not have the Ola Bola spirit when it comes to governance?

We're still raving and praising our spirits when they are people in three piece-suits laughing at us. What a misunderstood and misguided farce. All that adverts on TV and the sports personalities telling us how great this movie is - what a bunch of sickos. Wonder where they park their grey cells?

How many more Ola Bola stereotype movies do we need to remind ourselves the nationalistic spirit in us is nothing but a misguided missile into the ocean. All of that we think spirited is squashed and decimated every five years when a single race part wins the National Polls and wants to rule forever. Mind you...is this the spirit we are talking about of Ola Bola?

Ask yourselves.... not me.

I am too a tiny screw.

++ Sorry, Ola Bola movie - not impressed. What a yawn!
