The below is a complain made by a passenger on the Grassland Bus service. (KL-SPORE-KL).

After 11 years learning English in schools, this is the end result.

The Hate People ...

To shout at them will be rude. To throw water will tantamount to a verbal war. To ridicule - stupid. So,  what else is there to do then to live with it.

How do you expect people like me not to go ballistic waking up to loud old ladies taking a walk around my apartment clapping and banging their hands and chatting in Cantonese at 5.30 in the morning. Don't they know, the majority of the apartment dwellers are still asleep. When there is a 'padang' just across the apartment, I wonder why they use the vicinity of the apartment to do their morning 'chi'. Chi your head la.

Then there is this rempit fellow, sharp 6 am ground floor of my apartment, will go 'Drom Droom Droommmmmm' god, starting his 2 wheeler and wake every one up.

Aiyoooo...dei broder, 6 pagi orang masih tidurlah ...apa hal ini u pagi-pagi buta drommm drooomm you punye motor macam kereta F1, itu pun moto kapchai. Mane u kerja ..highway ke?  Kesian kat orang bawahlah, especially the two awek gemuk sisters working in Selayang Municipal Councill yang bawa kereta ViOS model baru. U tau tak, u punye bunyi moto boleh kejutkan gajah, maybe can coma the gajah also. I pasti every day Monday sampai Saturday itu dua awek gemuk pasti keji u habis-habis.

Allooo  brader, pegi lah "drommm drommmm" start motor dekat guard house. Ingatlah pada insan-insan, baby-baby yang tidur tu. Dah lah u satu hal, nyonya-nyonya Cina pulak buat wayang Cina pagi buta depan apartment  "heee hah heee hah" ...baling pinggan baru tau. Bodo punye Cina. Dah lah tua, nak jadi Lady Ga Ga konon.

And then petang pulak, ade this makcik who takes her cat for a walk with a leash tied round its neck. Imaginelah a cat on a leash.  Aiyooooo.

Oiiiii...itu kucing la. Kalau-kalau u bawa lembu ke kaldai ke on a leash I paham la tapi kucing u bawa pegi walking on a leash?  hahahahahaha

U tau tak, kesian kucing itu, nak jalan dia segan, nak duduk segan, nak berak pun dia segan. Then you paksa that little feline to walk with you. Dahlah u jalan cam badak, u expect the cat to keep up with u. Lagi-lagi when the cat is so confused with the leash and all, you expect it to keep pace with u.

Kucing suke panjat pokok. I want to see u also panjat pokok dengan kucing u, bolih tak?

Oiiiiii, makcik...jagan seksa kucing tau. Dah lah recently pet shop di PJ banyak kucing mati, ini pulak u paksa bawa your kucing for a walk on a leash. Apalah punye bodo otak u.

The recent BN Hari Raya Open House in Shah Alam, September 17, 2011 says the exact intention of the BN ruled Malaysian Government.

To win the coming GE 13 at all cost even if they have to "EAT" the opposition by whatever means.

Repealed, ISA

The ISA or the Internal Security Act has been repealed by the Malaysian Government.

The only thing I gather from this repeal is, when they can easily and wantonly repeal something like the ISA, they can equally like a pig, give birth to a whole dozen of other piglet "draconian laws"

All the same however, there is one other thing I keep thinking...

If you keep knocking on the same door, and you aren't sure if its going to open or not...keep on knocking. One day that very door out of too much knocks will not only open but will crumble down just like the Berlin Wall.

It's the gallant might and the will of people who shape a nation. And not be any other.

...did you say illiterate!

Don't be shocked or alarmed. This is Malaysia I'm writing about. This is about the things you may think only existed in the past.

** In Malaysia, parents enroll their tots in "tadika" (Kindergarten) at age 3-5.

1. In Malaysia, at year 7 children are enrolled in schools. (compulsory)

2. Children are enrolled in various national type of schools, boarding schools, private schools and /or vernacular schools.

3. Students, the majority are accessed and gauged in various examination methods, curriculum activities and other self-styled school exams.

4. At year 12, students finish their primary and move on to secondary education.

5. At age 15, students sit for their compulsory SRP exams.

6. After SRP, they proceed to Form 4 and later are streamed into Arts or Science stream.

7. In Malaysia, at age 17, students take their "killer" SPM exams.

8. This exam decides if students are eligible to go on to do their Pre-U studies (matriculation) or to continue to Form 6. Many would option to go on to colleges and other institute of higher learning including Teacher's Training college, Military college, Vocational college and many more.

8. At 18, students are randomly selected to go for National Service. Failure in enrolment entails a jail sentence. ( I really don't know how this works out )

In all, a student from age 3 to 17 goes through various stages of education in our Malaysian schools to prepare them for various endeavours they would take up and chart their career path.

But alas all that, comes the startling discovery ....

...the Defence Ministry of Malaysia revealed nearly 1,000 out of 11,000 youths drafted to undergo National Service training from last year’s third batch were illiterate.

Question :

  1. What were these students doing in school for the past 17 or more years?
  2. What were the teachers doing with such students?
  3. Didn't the Ministry of Education not know of there being "illiterate" students?
  4. What will these students do when they are out of schools?
( I knew of a student at age 15 who couldn't write his own 5 letter name. He later "disappeared" from school and was never to be heard ever.)

But one question keeps reeling in me :

Being illiterate, and in spite of all the exams they take in school, how did these "lesser-educated-students" able to move from year 7 to year 17 and not know how to learn, read or write?

Someone, once said, I remember well... there is nothing wrong with the schools or the teachers in Malaysia, its the student and the system.

Are you sure?

Here's a tinker : If you're a parent and you've an illiterate kid, what do you do?

A Rip Van Winkle he isnt ....

Mat Sabu, the deputy president of PAS is undoubtedly the recipient of various accolades as "joker of the day."

Lately he was implicated as a no-brainer historian of the opposition.

From his speech:

Well! the irony of being in the wrong party, the wrong time.

Welcome Mat Sabu to the Indian community.

Prof's answer ...

Prof Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Khoo Kay Kim label sesiapa pemimpin politik yatakan sokong komunis masa kini ‘cukup bodoh.’

Beliau minta semua pihak tidak menyalahkan Timbalan Presiden PAS Mohamad Sabu yang dikatakan buat kenyataan menyokong komunis sebagai pejuang kemerdekaan sebenar negara.

“Tapi dia tidak bodoh, dia pandai sandiwara. Jangan salah orang macam Mat Sabu. Rakyat sendiri mesti guna akal, jangan cepat caya,” katanya.

In simplicity, what the Prof is saying is that, we've Historians who never studied History and yet claim to know History better than their forefathers. These are the "relics" who actually should be fossilized in a geological museum.

I've always known from small Malaysian history IS not history but rubbish. It's a fabled story told by fools, morons and arseholes to propagate and champion one's ideology in race and faith.

Operation Opps what??

Over the airways, on the news, "the Police are saddened 289 people died in road accidents in the country during the recent Hari Raya Holidays under the Oppss  "whatever" operation."

In seems, the death toll this year was higher than that of last year and this had saddened the police.

And our men in blue, to curb this gross fatality, have  suggested driving skills and ethics should be inculcated in schools - I can only presume to school going children.

Exactly, why not! Good idea. Heck! we can let our kids drive to school on their own. Swell ain't it.

Then when a kid is shot and killed by our men in blue, "I told him to stop. But when he saw me he drive away so fast. I wanted to scare him, so I shoot and the bullet hit his head. Too bad the kid died."

Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (RTD) - all drivers learn and get their licenses from JPJ, then maybe we can send our kids to JPJ for driving lessons instead. If you ask JPJ the reason behind the the increase of accidents, they may say "u belum cukup matang atau mahir pandu kereta. Itu pasal ramai mati."  I can only assume this would be JPJ's excuse.

Another startling reality. This is actually from me. My observance. The majority of casualties who perish on our roads be it highway, byway or even trunk roads are Malays

    * Hari Raya holidays - yang mati Melayu
    * Chinese New Year Holidays - yang mati Melayu
    * Deepavali - also Melayu.

How? Are the Malays the only road users in the country?

The Government says Malaysia has the best roads and the best road safety campaigns in the country. If that is so, then explain the death fatalities?

A lame question : If every road user is to strictly obey a hundred percent to every road rule, can accidents be avoided?

Or, are our driving licenses sold or given away like free candies?

One thing I know for sure, how come many Malays get through the driving test/exams they take and that so for the first time and why the others fail countless times before they're  finally "made" to pass. Strange?  Bermuda Triangle perhaps.

There are just so many genuine reasons why our roads are the killing stretches of the country. To me the answer not only lies on the road users but the authorities  as well.

To many road users, they don't drive their car. It's the car that drives them.

A tip to Malaysians : Just because you have got your license from JPJ, it DOES NOT mean you are Micheal Schumacher. Believe me, in Malaysia, even after getting your driving license, you need about 12 months or more of practise before you can safely and bravely say you can drive. Else be prepared to have someone cry over your grave.

Be safe.

A fall to the bottom ... sad sad sad

The August transfer window has closed. Come January 2012 when it reopens, a new buy/sell frenzy will take place. All players bought and sold will start a new club "greed" to win every trophy promised by FIFA.

The state of football has now come to the "auction" table. The highest bidder gets the player.

Arsenal is now languishing somewhere bottom in the English Premier League table. 17th to be precise. With only one point, I guess they're the only team in Europe who have qualified for the Champions League by virtue of a knock-out qualification; and they're the only top-flight team yet to win a Premier League game. In the BPL table Arsenal is the only team who has the most number of goals scored against them - 10. (courtesy of 8 - 2 drubbing by Man U at The Old Toilet.)

Perspective :
In the recently concluded and closed transfer window (August ), Arsene Wenger, went out of him staunch beliefs for young players and brought in 5 seasoned 'old' players.

New Signings in August :
  • Per Martesacker (Germany)
  • Mikel Arteta (Spain)
  • Chou Young Park ( South Korea)
  • Yossi Benayoun (Israel)
  • Andre Santos (Brazil)

Before August :
  • Gervinho (Ivory Coast)
  • Carl Jenkinson ( England)

and sold :
  • Cesc Fabregas (Spain)
  • Samir Nasri (France)
  • Gael Clichy (France)
  • Eboue(Ivory Coast)

and loaned out :
  • Carlos Vela (Mexico)
  • Niklas Bendtner (Denmark)
  • Denilson (Brazil)
  • Hanri Lansbury
  • Joel Campbell
The club lost 9 players in the crazy money-splashing transfer window and made a close to 100 million Euros. That's a lot of money for a club to make.

Info : Arsenal is the 5th richest football club on the planet now.

So,
For a team that had sucked glory in the BPL for a good long time and making waves out of their youngsters have now suddenly fallen from grace. Arsene Wenger is now seen the reason behind the 'explosive' drop. Fans have a reason to show their angst against a Manager who had helm a football club for too long. Some expected him to leave but the old gaffer had said saliently, "It is my fault and I take the blame but I will not leave."

Strangely enough, the fans excepted his reasons.

Arsene Wenger now has more work on his hands then he ever had and needs to finish top 4 by next May 2012 else his job will be on the line.

But to others, the underlying fact the manager of Arsenal who is an Economist is simply this ; Arsene Wenger, businessman first, manager second.

Or shall I say an educated man.

Lets sail the season. We still have 9 more months to rest our laurels.

See you there at the top.

India Pakistan Border ...

The only visible thing amongst Indians and Pakistanis is their border. I guess that's where they keep their brains.

Good thing we aren't  their neighbours else we would be visible even form "U-ranus"

All time first ... way to go

We Malaysians have a knack to be first in every thing. It seems like a cool paranoia amongst Malaysians. Check out our Guinness Book of Malaysian Records - the nth edition. I bet they're many first in there. First from last is I believe recorded as well.

Rod Stewart in his song sings, the first cut is the deepest.  That is a damn true statement. Anything that happens to us for the first time is always kept as remembrance and close to the heart. Dont' you agree? So, the Guinness Book of Malaysian Records is a defo treasure book. Go get one if you haven't.

To start off, here are some of the first we would have encountered without realising. They're just so many things that can come first to a Malaysian.

  • first day in school
  • first time teacher scold or beat
  • first time watch movie.
  • first time ate ice-cream
  • first time did something "naughty" and parents never got to know.
Well! Did you get that point. The list goes on and on. No harm in listing them down and having it plastered on your room wall or somewhere you fancy reminded.

They're also things that can be first to you tho' it never happened to you. Things like : -
  • your neighbour died.
  • you caught your neighbour throwing rubbish into another neighbour's house.
  • your favourite artist got married to a 3 time widower.
  • your three door away neighbour's daughter got caught by the cops for whatever apparent reason.
  • You saw Mr. Someone you know with Mrs. Someone you hate, together.
  • your cousin brother's extended relatives mother-in-law had a quarrel with her in-laws neighbour.
The typical Malaysian list of first goes on ever forever.

Now, let's get back to some real issues - issues that make and bake the nation to the extend our dailies rock your boats. And I would like to believe all these are cordially and well recorded in the First Malaysian Book of Dubious Records as well. Another first by virtue.

Here are some of the first in Malaysia you can never find, hear or even read anywhere but in the annals of the Malaysian History and in our dailies, tweets, blogs, FB and many more social web-sites.

How about this for a start - we're the first to have the biggest flag on this planet. The tallest towers. There is an inkling a new taller tower is on the blueprint. Another first to the earlier first.

The biggest nasi lemak ever cooked and packed. The biggest spherical tosai, way bigger that a flying saucer. The biggest moon cake, bigger than the moon obviously. The widest carpet, biggest sarong tapestry, biggest papaya, durian, jambu, and even the largest goat with the longest goatee.

Let's move on.

We've the longest and the most confusing crime drama ever of the decade, where the person charged is recharged countless times to keep him occupied in the courts no matter what the outcome of the judgement is. On top of that lots of accusations are being lined up to ensure this biggest crime doer does not sodomise any other person let alone the government. This is definitely a first.

It's a first where a crime is perpetrated and ensured the courts call up only those who are not against the system and ensure everything said in court is seen to be juicy to the dailies and to the selected authorities.

It's a first when a peaceful rally to call for fair and free elections is banned for the sole reason if the national election becomes rig free, then it is deemed  dangerous and misleading to the Malaysian society.

Another first where anal sex can also be in digital form or via airborne.  If they can make semen in bytes form, you have no idea what they can do to a DNA.

We're the first to have people who show porn in public and yet be given protection by the law.

We're the first to have people swear in a holy shrine, donned with bullet-proof vest to claim their innocence and thus pardoned.

Many foreigners have died either in custody or via sentence but we're the first to kill a foreigner with C4 strapped to the body and yet not know who actually did it. Even the person(s) who did it have no idea if they did it or it was all a hallucination.

We're the first to have tolls on our highway and pay for every 15 minutes.

We're the first to send a Moslem doctor and not an astronaut to space.

We're the first to have TV shows where you need to imagine what the actor(s) are saying. It really does not matter if you don't understand what the movie is about.

We're the first to accord non-human rights to humans.

And the gist of all the first; we're the first to hunt for a fugitive who blogs, tweets, screws up the government, gives talks in Universities, supports the Opposition and yet not know where he is hiding.

The same fugitive was incarcerated under the ISA and later released only to see him flee to another country; presumably the country of his birth.

Sincerely, I sure do hope you're not the first to hear all these from me.

Another Air Asia's nonsense....

A one way flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur is all about crap crap crap  fees.

41.00 SGD1 Guest @ 41.00 SGD

5.00 SGDFuel Surcharge

3.00 SGDAirport Fee

6.10 SGDAviation Levy

8.00 SGDPassenger Security Fee

13.90 SGDPassenger Service Fee

77.00 SGDTotal
Fuel surcharge? I can only guess this little fee goes to his F1 team to  pay for his petro fumes.

To use an airport need a fee??  hahahah.. You mean to say your planes land everywhere and if it does in an airport, one need to pay fees? How about you land in a paddy field. Got fee?

What in the world is an aviation levy anyway? How come there is no such thing as bus levy, taxi levy or even train or boat levy?

Isn't it rather dumb and dubious. A passenger need to pay a fee for his security and that too the security fee has got a service fee as well. Ha ha ... I believe a retard jackass could reason this thing out better.

Welcome to the avaricious world of Tony Fernandez. Oopss..sorry Datuk Tony Fernandez.

No wonder his highness could afford Queens Park Rangers and an F1 team.

What a shame

This is an absolute DUMB and inappropriate
