Bersih 3.0 is done. So, what's next? Much ado about nothing, you may also say.
Let this be clear, this isn’t about who wins the next General Election or which party forms the Government to rule over Malaysia for the next 5 years.
This isn’t about Anwar becoming the next Premier or Ambiga heading the Election Commission.
And definitely this isn’t about Pak Samad dancing to the tune of flashdance or penning out his next sombre ‘puisi’ on ‘reformasi’ PTPTN.
This is about legacy, our legacy. What we stand and fight for is what we want our future generation to embrace and carry with pride. We never do anything for nothing. It's just plain legacy. That is what we need to leave behind. It's a history of legacy, made and built to last a hanker of time. We need to bequest this legacy to those who succeed us.
But in Malaysia, it’s not that. It is about history written and rewritten to one’s fancy, exploited to one’s ideology and misled in the name of race and religion – baseless and bittersweet fib. It's about the power frenzy-feeding beast wanting and raping the nation in broad daylight.
In Malaysia it’s all about hegemony, race agenda, same party bullshit, creed crap and if I may say blood-sucking paranoia. Such bastards amongst us.
To put it more subtly, we need to look down, way down on what’s going wrong with us, with our system, with our legislature, with our prudence, governance and now the quality of life. The present Government have grown impregnable to the extend they can dig one up from the throes of time and send you back into a black hole of oblivions. In short, they can make even a mummy to confess.
I ask myself: Why now Bersih? Why not during the tenure of one senile old dictator who premiered the nation, single handedly destroyed everything in his path so he could succeed forever including rewriting the federal constituiti0on to his own fancies. Why not then? Don’t you think we wasted a good part of our life during those years? We could have sailed away but instead many listened to him and made all mockery out of their lives except for the super rich and super connected to the powers that walk the corridors of Government.
Are we saying Malaysia was well and hearty then! In fact Malaysia started to erode some 20 years ago and is still eroding.
With Bersih, we now have begun to look deeper, to scavenge harder at the antics of those who exert inconceivable powers - to look at those who wield and prostitute them wantonly. If only we had done Bersih then maybe some 15 years ago, we would have built by now an empire of Malaysians.
To put in a better perspective, here is a simple equation; It may sound lame but try to look at the economic mechanics of change. I call it simply the coffee principal.
Creamless sugarless coffee then was 50 cents. Today the same cost RM1.30.
How did the simple price of coffee (tasteless and useless) get hiked by 80 cents?
Now relay that to the present regime in Governance over a lapse of 50 years. We have the same lunatics, the same feral scoundrels hitching the same crime and getting away with anything they do without a single stroke of the law arrested on them. If then they were stealing millions, today its billions. The coffee principal, isn’t it not. Any they want to stay in power forever.
Now, this is why we need Bersih. If you still can’t see the picture I’ve painted, then either you are super rich born or simply a don’t care citizen of the present time. I mean a mere fool.
Do you know we have an unlearned government? All they want is power to rule over. They have never spent time and effort on anything that doesn’t spell money. They have blundered big time, stolen wealth beyond their means and grown arrogant.
What transformation is this? To me it reflects the unscrupulous running the government of the day.
Again, why do we need Bersih?
Each time you look at a mirror, look into your reflection and not at it.
LOVE LIVE BERSIH.
