Leave the people, the mayhem and above all Dataran Merdeka crusade for a while. Let's ponder on what we're missing, along with our mainstream politicians. A politician is only a politician when he/she speaks clearly, loudly and utter most correctly in any chosen langauge- mainly English and Malay.
Here is a crude swipe at them. Hope they read, learn, acquire and larn. (yes, larn an English word I leaned recently.)
Quote;
Politicians elected to Parliament assume they are the chosen ones. Many don't realise their language skill sets are deplorable and sucks big time.
They never take any effort lest the few to improve their language skills be it spoken or written and neither approach in dynamism in addressing the public. Many high ranking politicians engage speech writers to do all their writings for them. All they do is read what is written and get all the applauses. Such lame brains within us politicians.
They're many who helm single race parties like (PAS, MIC, MCA and UMNO) who only champion their refined mother-tongue language but can't deliver anything better beyond that (other languages, namely English)
Some (MIC) go brag about their profound race but are unable to speak, read nor wrote Tamil fluently or correctly. What a wasted bunch of exhibitionist.
Many from UMNO / PAS / PKR are horribly useless in English. They can't get a simple English statement correct. One would begin to wonder if they ever learned any language besides Malay in school at all.
A whole lot from MCA / MIC / DAP / Gerakan have little or none Bahasa Melayu skills. 12 to 13 years of education and they still stammer stumble with their pronunciations. Some even speak bastardising one language with another. Unquote.
If you can't make the other understand in simple basic language, how in the world do you expect the public to lay trust in you.
Not me , you can never.
